BOISE, Idaho, December 24, 1998 –

Information Designs, Inc. (IDI) announced today the availability of "CC Payment Server, enterprise," – Credit Card Authorization and Settlement software targeted for Developers and Publishers of E–Commerce software. CC Payment Server, enterprise, utilizes Vital Processing's POS–Port to interface to the banking community. It accepts virtually all credit cards via Vital Processing's Merchant Services, including private label and GSA purchasing cards. The market segment that will best utilize CC Payment Server, enterprise , are merchants and companies that receive credit card payment via internet or telephone in medium to high volume.

Configuration

CC Payment Server, enterprise, is an enterprise E–Commerce application that runs under Microsoft Win 95, 98 or NT and interfaces to an ODBC compliant database. A single computer with a POS-port connected to a dedicated dialup telephone line is the equipment required in a small business E–Commerce and/or telemarketing environment.

In a large scale E–Commerce and/or telemarketing environment CC Payment Server, enterprise, will typically be installed on two computers, both with POS–Ports, within the network where credit card information is being taken by telemarketers and/or from the company web site(s).

Software Developer and Publisher Pricing

The first copy of CC Payment Server, enterprise, sold to a software Developer or Publisher is $4,500 and includes three (3) months of telephone support. Consulting services for installation and customization are available at market rates. Additional copies of the software may be licensed for $995. Software Developers and Publishers who enter into an Software Licensing Agreement with IDI will determine in advance the number of copies per year of CC Payment Server, enterprise, that they intend to purchase. All sales for the year will then be at the agreed to price. In annual quantities of 200+ CC Payment Server, enterprise, is priced at $495.
